Issue 10 - “Things Don't Feel Like They Use To”

LONER’s mission is to bring talented artists, movers and makers to the forefront by featuring works from all walks of life. Today, we are actively accepting submissions in the form of; photography, video, opinion pieces, investigative journalism, fashion etc. 

 

LONER is looking for raw, saturated, and outspoken content from all walks of life. If you have work that you feel passionate about, or a story you think people need to hear - submit it! If the submitted work fits in with what we’re looking for - we’ll include it in our publication. 

 

If work is submitted, but we determine it may not be a good fit for this issue, our editorial staff will reach out to either find other means of collaboration or save the submitted work for a later issue.

How to submit

 

In order for your content to be considered please fill out the form and be as thorough as possible. We want to present your work with fidelity to your vision while balancing the overall look of our publication. 

 

The more you include the more we can make sure we don’t miss anything important. After submitting this form, if your work is selected someone from our staff will be in touch.

Submission Guidelines + Sending Us Your Work: 

 

We accept submissions by either direct submission to our editorial staff or through our digital submission form. We do not accept do not accept physical work submission at this time.  If you have any questions or encounter technical difficulties, please Contact Us.

Accepted Work + Timing: 

​

LONER Magazine accepts submissions all year round. Any submitted materials not used immediately will be kept in our system for future consideration. If work is set to be published, you’ll receive a notification from our staff via email. If you would like to Un-Submit your work for consideration, please reach out to our staff here. 

LONER is a small publication and currently does not have the means to offer stipends for submitted work. As artists, designers, musicians and photographers ourselves, we understand how important that is, and we're working hard to change that in the future. 

Currently, all accepted work will recieve: 

1.   Full Credits on our website, blog, socials, and print magazine. 

2.  A free copy of the print magazine
3.  Free access to the digital magazine.

Cross Publication: 

 

Some publications prefer to have exclusive access to stories and materials - LONER Magazine is not that sort of publication. Feel free to cross submit your work to other publications as you see fit.
 

 

Response Time:

LONER’s response time varies depending on the time of year. You can expect to hear back from us in 1 - 3 weeks max.

Submission Fees: 

 

In an attempt to remove publishing barriers for emerging artists, LONER Magazine does not charge any fees for submitting work. If you would like to support our publication, feel free to buy our merch, published on a rolling basis, or make a donation [we're still working on this!].
